Vermont’s Green Lantern Solar acquired by new renewable energy developer

Based in New York Send energy announced the acquisition of the community and commercial solar developer in Vermont Green Solar Lantern. Send energy, founded in 2024will acquire more than 64 solar and battery storage projects from GLS at various stages of development and operation, for a total of 208.9 MWdirect current.

This acquisition expands Dispatch’s footprint in the growing distributed generation market in Georgia, Maryland, West Virginia, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Dispatch will acquire 100% of Green Lantern’s business, including operating and development assets and the O&M services business.
