Torlys receives ‘Great Place to Work’ certification

Great place to work Toronto—Torlys has been recertified as a Great Place to Work, according to the company, following a thorough, independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work Institute Canada. This certification is based on direct employee feedback, provided as part of a comprehensive and anonymous survey of their work experience.

“Torly’s first and foremost priority is our Torlys TeamMates, unconventional, even surpassing customers,” said Peter Barretto, Torlys President & CEO. “By doing this, Torlys TeamMates treats customers in kind, making them their number 1 priority. Receiving this certification from our Torlys TeamMates for the second year in a row confirms that we are consistently meeting our stated top priority.”

Nancy Fonseca, senior vice president of Great Place to Work Canada, said a great workplace is about the trust employees feel in their leaders, the level of pride they take in their work, and the degree to which they enjoy their colleagues. “Our data shows that great workplaces benefit from better financial performance, lower revenue and better customer satisfaction than their peers. In addition, trust-based work environments are ripe for innovation, agility, resilience and efficiency,” said Fonseca.
