Most recently, on March 28, 2021, Tom was promoted to first-time grandfather, followed by a second grandchild on March 29, 2021. Tom’s greatest joy was those little ones, Kennedi Rose Lindley, daughter of Nate and Crystal Lindley, and Kayne River Lindley, son of Jaydon Lindley. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Lindley (Warthen) of Cedar Rapids; son, Nathan (Crystal) Lindley and granddaughter, Kennedi of Anamosa; son, Thomas Lindley of Coralville; daughter, Jaydon Lindley of Cedar Rapids; and his childhood best friend/brother, Eldon (Sue) Zacek of North Carolina.
