Suspect damaged HVAC units at school in Manhattan
MANHATTAN – Law enforcement agencies are investigating a case of alleged criminal harm at a Manhattan beauty school.
Just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, police reported criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of Westloop Place in Manhattan.
Bellus Academy reported that an unknown suspect had damaged multiple HVAC units on the school’s roof, according to the Riley County Police Department’s activity report. Authorities are still in the process of determining the estimated total loss before the damage. Police did not release any further details on Thursday morning.
