SimpliPhi partners with Lumin on whole-home energy monitoring through smart circuit platform
SimpliPhi Power, a provider of energy storage systems, and Lumin, a power management platform, have partnered to introduce an integrated solution that provides real-time analytics and dynamic controls for energy storage systems in homes and businesses.
“SimpliPhi is always looking for new ways to empower our customers to take control of their energy decisions and own their power,” said Catherine Von Burg, CEO and President of SimpliPhi Power. “By fully integrating Lumin’s state-of-the-art hardware and digital interface with our range of scalable energy storage solutions, we can give homeowners and businesses new levels of control, a better understanding of their energy consumption and the ability to dynamically use energy to manage their monthly energy bills.” or even eliminate it.”
The partnership officially launches a single, easy-to-use app for SimpliPhi customers that goes beyond on-site generation and consumption monitoring to provide circuit-level insights into a building’s energy consumption and performance. Through intuitive control and automation, customers can use their energy storage system to save money each month by avoiding usage time and demand costs. In addition, advanced statistics and controls enable customers seeking whole-home backup power to install more cost-effective systems that can manage building loads in greater detail to ensure reliable power when the grid is unavailable.
“The ability to tackle current climate challenges depends on the mass adoption of distributed energy,” said Alex Bazhinov, founder and CEO of Lumin. “We are excited to partner with SimpliPhi to deliver added value to homeowners and make solar and storage systems more affordable and capable by integrating battery and charging management into one intuitive, easy-to-use application.”
