Shaw Floors celebrates St. Jude partnership

shaw floorsShaw Industries Group flagship Dalton-Shaw Floors concluded its recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by thanking its customers, employees, media partners and suppliers for their tremendous support to help end the fight against childhood cancer. According to Shaw, the prominent flooring brand has had a partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for nearly a decade.

Since 2012, Shaw Floors has raised more than $16 million to support the research hospital’s lifesaving mission of finding cures and rescuing children. much of this success is due to the overwhelming support of its dedicated retailers, employees, media partners and suppliers. Over time, the collaboration has evolved into a multifaceted program that touches almost every aspect of the brand’s business, including:

  • National Dream Home Sponsor: Shaw Floors has been a national sponsor and exclusive flooring supplier to the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway since 2012. Each year, Shaw Floors products are displayed in more than 40 homes across the country.
  • Cushion for St. Jude Collection: These products provide comfort and durability, and $0.18 per square foot sold is donated directly to the research hospital. According to Shaw and his retail partners, about $1 million is collectively donated each year from pillow sales.
  • Clean for a purpose: Shaw Floors’ Hard Surface Cleaner and Carpet Cleaner donate $0.25 per bottle sold, and each mop kit sold donates $0.50 directly to the research hospital.
  • St. Jude Heroes Program: Shaw employees, customers and media partners participate in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend every December for a reason. Since 2013, Shaw said it has raised more than $795,000 for the event, while Shaw Floors is also a gold sponsor of the annual event.
