Production of solar panels for commercial market begins at SPI Energy facility in Sacramento
New US solar panel maker SPI Energy/SolarJuice announced that it has begun production on 450-W and 550-W solar panels at its facility in Sacramento, California.
The solar panels for the commercial market are being produced under the brand name Solar4America in the former Sunergy manufacturing plant.
“We are seeing increasing demand for solar solutions for warehouse, office, school, manufacturing facility and agricultural applications,” stated Mr. Xiaofeng Denton Peng, Chairman & CEO of SPI Energy. “SPI already has demonstrated strong success in the market, including marquee installations such as the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Now with these commercial-grade solar modules in the SolarJuice lineup, we are positioning it for similar success as the market opportunity continues to rapidly expand.”
No spec sheets on the modules are available.
