The Composites segment produces, manufactures and sells fiber glass reinforcements; and manufactures and markets fiberglass products in the form of fabrics, non-wovens and other specialty products. The products are used in pipes, roof shingles, sporting goods, consumer electronics, telecommunications cables, boats, aviation, automobiles, industrial containers and wind power applications in the building and construction, transportation, consumer, industrial and power and energy markets. The Insulation segment produces and sells fiberglass insulation for residential, commercial, industrial and other markets for thermal and acoustic applications; and manufactures and markets fiberglass pipe insulation, flexible duct media, bonded and granulated mineral fiber insulation, cellular glass insulation and foam insulation used in construction applications.
