Mohawk expands Learn & Live collection
Calhoun, Ga.—Mohawk Group expanded its Learn & Live collection with Taking Steps, comprising three versatile 24 x 24 modular carpet styles.
“Learn & Live takes its inspiration from queues found in a fascinating design study surrounding biophilic concepts of complexity and order,” said Jackie Dettmar, vice president of marketing, design and product development, Mohawk Group. “The research links the incorporation of these ideas into the built environment with increased collaboration, creativity and social interaction, and with a reduction in negative behaviour. By using this concept as the basis for inspiring learning spaces, Learn & Live can improve the learning experience.”
Taking Steps offers worry-free solutions with:
- Fast delivery: Quickship availability on all styles and colors.
- Maintenance-friendly and long-lasting performance: Made with Duracolor Tricor premium nylon, EcoFlex NXT backing and proven construction for superior performance in high traffic interiors that are less costly to maintain.
- Easy to install: Collapsible dyes, multi-directional installation and the FlexLok tab system eliminate the need for wet adhesives and significantly reduce downtime.
- Easy to use: Three different patterns and scales can be used between different areas in the room.
In addition to these solutions, each style is available in a versatile range of nine colorways. Motivated Movement is a bold geometric on a larger scale, Necessary Action is a classic grid on a smaller scale, Adopt a Plan comes in the middle with an interesting geometric with a slight abstract twist.
“The collection is not only versatile, but also environmentally friendly,” says Dettmar. “As part of the Living Product Challenge, Mohawk Group is here to do our part to conserve resources and protect the environment. We are proud to say that the Taking Steps collection is net positive for both carbon and water and achieves International Living Future Institute Living Petal certification by meeting multiple requirements.”
