As a company spokesperson pointed out, COVID-19 is by far the biggest challenge the Jennings Heating & Cooling team has faced in recent years.

“We didn’t know what to expect and, like all companies, we were concerned about what was to come,” notes the spokesperson, adding that the employees came together as a team to support each other and continue to provide excellent service.

One way Jennings Heating & Cooling was able to stay open during the pandemic was with the launch of Virtual Advisor, a program that allowed the company’s technicians to remotely troubleshoot, evaluate and diagnose problems where possible. Foraker was able to offer this innovative virtual visit during the pandemic to new and existing customers free of charge.

“ The virtual visit was intended to assist with troubleshooting and provide solutions to some of the more common and simple problems and failures of HVAC equipment, ” the spokesperson noted, adding that during the virtual visit could also provide estimates for service.

If the problem could not be resolved during the virtual visit, an on-site service would be scheduled and run in an extremely secure manner with some security measures.

For example, in addition to social distancing, the technicians also wear shoe covers, latex gloves and a face mask, and also disinfect any surface they come into contact with during the service visit. They also provide customers with a disposable marker that they can use to sign for payments and repairs.

Foraker said he is extremely proud of his team for the way they have tackled the challenges of operating during a pandemic, and he is also grateful to his customers for their patience.

Looking ahead to the remainder of 2021, Foraker said he has a goal of generating $ 10 million dollars in revenue by continuing to provide the best customer service possible.

As we grow, we keep adding new employees who share the same concern and concern for our customers. And we are very proud that 2021 is our 90th year of operation, ‘he said.
