Hull Street Energy acquires Foundation Solar Partners
Hull Street Energy has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the management team and development pipeline of Foundation Solar Partners, an independent renewable energy development company specializing in identifying and developing utility-scale solar energy projects in selected markets in the eastern United States. . Founded in 2019 by a team of experienced industry veterans, Foundation Solar Partners has developed and sold 1 GW of solar energy projects in PJM’s transmission area to date.
With this acquisition, Hull Street Energy increases its footprint in critical power infrastructure that will be needed to support the decarbonisation of the North American energy economy. Through affiliates, the company will own 52 power plants providing 900 MW of renewable, gas-fired and dual-fuel generation capacity, in addition to Foundation Solar Partners’ growing portfolio of development projects, to support the transition of grid operations in the United States.
