HomeServe today announces the acquisition of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania-based McLoughlin Plumbing, Heating & Cooling (McLoughlin). As a leading provider of service plans, repair and installation services for the home, HomeServe continues to bolster its nationwide presence with a growing network of locally branded HVAC and plumbing companies. McLoughlin marks HomeServe’s fifteenth such acquisition; it is the third in Pennsylvania.

McLoughlin has a long track record of serving customers in the Greater Philadelphia area, having been founded in 1965 by Edward McLoughlin. Before being acquired by HomeServe, the company was led by Edward’s sons, brothers William (Bill) and Robert (Bob) McLoughlin, who manage a team of more than 40 employees. Bill and Bob will both remain on the McLoughlin team, serving as General Manager and Comfort Advisor, respectively.
