Franchise Brands PLC says plumbing businesses swamped with orders following easing of lockdown restrictions

() said its Metro Rod and Metro Plumb are seeing unprecedented demand for their services after the lockdown restrictions are relaxed.

Metro Rod and Metro Plumb have 9,300 jobs on the books, which is 4% higher than the previous record leading up to Christmas 2019.

“I am delighted that our Metro Rod and Metro Plumb engineers can once again welcome and support our many customers in the service and hospitality industry in reopening their doors following the further easing of the lockdown last Monday,” said Peter Molloy, the general manager of Metro Rod and Metro Plumb.
