Ecore hires new COO, commercial president

Ecore CommercialLancaster, Pa.-Ecore hired John “Jay” R. Doubman as chief operating officer of Ecore International and president of Ecore Commercial. Doubman has more than 28 years of experience in industry, chemicals, construction products and management consulting, with both public and private equity ownership.

As Chief Operating Officer, Doubman will lead all revenue lines for the entire Ecore family. In addition, as president of Ecore Commercial, Doubman will lead the growth and maintenance of Ecore’s product portfolio among contractors and architects. His expertise in business and business unit strategy, commercial and operational excellence and business development will be invaluable to Ecore’s continued growth and success in the industry.

Doubman was president of Building Solutions Group, where he oversaw the company’s profitability and led a team with the primary focus on driving synergistic organic growth and integration of acquisitions. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with Cabot Corporation, a global specialty chemicals and performance materials company, where he held various positions of increasing responsibility, serving on the executive committee and serving on the board as a member of the management team.
