Daltile contributes to R.I.S.E Foundation home

Dallas, Texas—Daltile participated in the most recent TO GET UP house donated by the Gary Sinise Foundation to retirees US Army Captain Derick Carverwho was seriously injured while serving in Afghanistan.

Daltile donated tile products for the home. “Daltile is truly honored to be a part of bringing this new home to Captain Carver,” said Jay Samber, Senior Director of Installation Product Sales for Daltile. “The Gary Sinise Foundation is passionate about giving back to those veterans who so bravely served and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.”

Through the RISE (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program, the Gary Sinise Foundation builds unique, specially adapted smart homes for our nation’s most injured heroes. These 100% mortgage-free homes ease the daily challenges of the wounded heroes and their families. Carver’s house is the 80e house built by the RISE program.
