CTEF online auction features $80k+ of product

CTEF Online AuctionPendleton, SC – The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) online auction taking place August 18-22, 2022 will feature a wide range of tile installation products and materials valued at over $80k. The proceeds of the auction will benefit the CTEF, enabling it to further support its mission.

“This online auction features tile installation products and materials that tilers and contractors know, value, and depend on,” said Brad Denny, CTEF Executive Director. “Not only can they stock up on their favorite products and materials, but they can also directly benefit from CTEF so that this foundation can continue to offer ceramic tiles and provide certification for installers.”

The CTEF online auction will take place from Aug. 18, 12:00 PM to Aug. 22, 4:00 PM EST, and will feature over 100 items relevant to tilers. Donated by supporters, suppliers and manufacturers of the tile and stone industry, these items include:

  • Tools such as mixers, saws, routers, tool sets, trowels, floats, sponges, suction cups and knee pads
  • Materials such as tiles, GPTP, backing board, subfloor, mortar, shower niches and grout
  • Floor products
  • NTCA Football/Golf and Fishing Experience Packages
  • Online courses and coloring books

“Proceeds from this online auction will allow us to expand training and certification programs such as the Certified Tile Installer (CTI) program and the Advanced Certifications for Tile Installers (ACT) program,” said Scott Carothers, director of certification and training for CTEF. .

The CTEF aims to improve the tile industry through installer certification, education, training and participation in the development of nationally recognized standards and methods. It exists on the basis of revenue generated from personal training and hands-on certification events and sponsorship of the tile industry. As a result of COVID-19, CTEF is increasingly reliant on fundraising.
