Coverings 2021 elevates tile’s aesthetic appeal

In line with the biophilic trend, natural materials will be in high demand in 2021. For example, stone and wood-look tiles continued to dominate this year. While wood-look used to be in high demand, stone-look tiles have improved their visual and textural styles and gained ground over their wood-look brethren on the show floor. “The look of bricks is a staple,” said Maher Kayali, senior brand manager, Anatolia. “They’re so gorgeous and so versatile, and they really bring a different element of nature into your home. And because they’re so versatile, you can mix and match them with lots of different looks to create a really cool design. For example, if you combine a marble look with a wood look with some contemporary tiles, you can really create and create your own interior aesthetic.”

Anatolia’s La Marca collection features nine stone looks that are available in a wide variety of sizes and shapes, including popular 24 x 48 formats and hexagonal shapes, as well as a modular Picco cut mosaic.

Del Conca’s Nature collection is inspired by Italian marble and includes four colors: Statuario Bianco, Dolomite, Carrara and Calacatta Gold.
