Couristan delays price increase – Floor Covering News

Fort Lee, NJ – Following Couristan’s announcement earlier this week regarding a price increase for residential broadloom/roll runner ranges, the company said it has shifted the effective date to begin taking orders on or after December 15, 2021.

Bob Tucci, executive vice president of wall-to-wall carpet sales, recently made the following statement in a letter to Couristan dealers:

“Understanding how price increases affect your business and the internal coordination you will have to go through during a transition period, we have decided to change the effective date of our price increase from December 1, 2021 to December 15, 2021. This new date includes all orders placed on or after 15 December 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Your satisfaction is important to us because we value our cooperation with you. As a reminder, we have updated our dealer portal and your price list accordingly. Please note that our price lists are only available electronically on our portal. If you are having trouble accessing your price list, please contact your local Couristan area manager or our pricing department at for assistance. We thank you for your feedback and understanding and look forward to working together and strengthening our partnership with you in the coming years.”
