California vineyard adds 145-kW solar array to power winemaking operations
Robert Biale Vineyards has just installed a new 145 kW solar panel atop its winery and tasting room in Napa, California. The solar system offsets Robert Biale Vineyards’ energy costs and nearly eliminates the electric bill.
“The implementation of this streamlined Solaria solar system is in line with Robert Biale Vineyards’ commitment to sustainability strategies and practices,” said Robert Biale, president and winegrower. “This state-of-the-art solar panel has enabled us to reduce our energy costs while illustrating to our visitors and community our commitment to eco-friendly practices. We hope visitors appreciate our sustainability initiatives and how we are working towards a clean energy future.”
Summit Technology Group completed the solar panel installation in less than four weeks. Biale’s new array consists of 362 Solaria PowerXT 400R-PM solar panels and SolarEdge inverters and optimizers that integrate with the property’s existing generator.
“Summit has a long track record in the field of solar energy. Our team consists of dedicated professionals with deep expertise in the design, installation and maintenance of solar energy systems. Solar installers like ourselves — and our customers — have a myriad of choices when it comes to buying solar,” said Kenny Cotton, VP of Summit Technology Group.
Solaria solar panels are designed and built in the United States.
“Smart commercial property owners and homeowners choose Solaria solar panels because they are visually appealing. Solaria’s goal is to ensure that our customers use the most powerful and reliable solar panels on the market,” said Tony Alvarez, CEO of Solaria.
