CALI engineered bamboo flooring gets a refresh
San Diego, California – CALI, the omnichannel flooring and decking company, has added four new colors to its collection of designed bamboo flooring. Engineered planks feature a layered design, layering solid bamboo over a sustainable wood core, the company said.
The layered construction reduces natural expansion and contraction, increasing dimensional stability. According to CALI, this bamboo makes a particularly smart choice in challenging climates and damp areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and basements. Engineered planks also require about 60% less acclimation before being installed, allowing for faster projects.
The new floors are made with click-lock milling which is ideal for glued or floating installations. A protective 13-layer scratch-resistant finish helps protect the planks from wear and tear. The company said it makes it easy to clean and eliminates the need for refinishing, saving time and money in the long run.
Shelves are also ultra-low VOC and FloorScore certified, making them safe for families and pets, with adhesives well below E0 emissions standards. Like all CALI bamboo floors, the curated collection is backed by a 50-year residential warranty and a 15-year commercial warranty, even if installed below grade, according to the company.
