NEW TECHNOLOGY AT TRMC: Trumbull Regional Medical Center partners with Veran to deliver advanced technology with the SPiN Thoracic Navigation System, which provides patients with improved diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.

The new technology uses electromagnetic navigation (EMN), just like the GPS in your car, to guide doctors to even the smallest, hard-to-reach nodules, resulting in earlier detection of lung cancer. The system is minimally invasive and allows doctors to reach and biopsy small suspicious nodules anywhere in the lungs, speeding up diagnosis without the need for multiple procedures.

Trumbull Regional Medical Center offers the lung cancer research program at Steward Health Center, Elm Road, 2586 Elm Road NE, Building B, Cortland and Trumbull Regional Medical Center, 1350 E. Market St., Warren.
