March 2025: The Installation Issue
Looking for answers in an unpredictable world
At the end of February I attended the Intersolar & Energy Storage Noord -Arikika -fairs in San Diego at -My first fairs since the second Trump administration was attacked. The mood in the exhibition hall was … modest. Everyone claims to be busier than ever, but there is a hesitation when watching 2026 and afterwards. With increased federal support of fossil fuels, new rates are initiated every day and executive orders that threaten to return the investments of the inflation Reduction Act, it feels like we are in an eternal Limbo. The demand for solar energy is huge, but is there support to build it?
Instead of discussing technological trends and new products, more people in the show wanted to thank the Solar Power World team for our daily reporting. We all scream for Flallers of accurate news in all aspects of daily life – not just solar energy. Although I appreciate the friendly comments about our editorial team that just ‘does our work’, it doesn’t really give me hot fuzzies when I think of the state of society. So know that our editors will continue to do the work that we are so much proud, and we will not report anything about anything until it is screened. I don’t want to preach too much about ourselves, but we know that your work – installing panels, determining supply chains, development policy – depends on the reliable, reliable work of solar energy world. We have respect for you and for journalism, so we will continue to do our utmost to bring you timely insights into all areas of solar energy and energy storage, so that we can actually look forward to the coming years.
We have to hear it all more often, so I will say it loudly: thank you for keeping it. Your work in solar energy can simply feel like a job that pays the bills, but it is important for so many lives. I am very happy to ride with you all on this roller coaster. Let’s continue to celebrate our victories this year
